Keith Truenow has lived in Central Florida since 1979. After graduating from Leesburg High School (Go Yellow Jackets!), Keith enlisted in the United States Air Force at the age of 17 and served our country for four years. Upon honorably completing his commitment, Keith returned home and got down to business–agri-business.
Keith founded Central Florida-based Lake Jem Farms. As a farmer and rancher, Keith focuses on producing sod that’s sold throughout the State of Florida–which is how Keith earned the nickname “Sodfather” in Tallahassee.
Besides being in business, Keith Truenow is very involved in our local community. He is a member of the Turfgrass Producers of Florida, Lake County Farm Bureau, and Lake County Fair Association. He was also a member of the Harris Chain of Lakes Restoration Council, appointed by then-Governor Rick Scott.
As our voice in the Florida Legislature, Keith has fought for lower taxes, smaller government, and every right enumerated in the Constitution. He and his wife have been married for over twenty years and have two sons.
We are a nation of laws and borders. With the Biden administration turning a blind eye to the invasion of hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens, it’s up to Florida to preserve the rule of law and protect its own citizens. You can count on Keith Truenow to crack down on illegal aliens, especially those who have committed crimes.
